Richards Bay Export Facility

Newlyn has acquired a 50 hectare site strategically located in Alton Industrial area at Richards Bay. It is served by a rail siding in the immediate vicinity and is only 3, 5 kms from the port.

The site will be developed into a high volume multi-product bulk terminal capable of handling minerals for export. Proximity to the deep water Port of Richards Bay will facilitate the loading of Panamax vessels thereby resulting in significant freight savings.

Bulk Fuel Storage Facility

In keeping with its Vision “Creating Operationally Efficient Store Facilities” , Newlyn has acquired land at Arnold Street – Alrode in Johannesburg. The site is in close proximity to various petrochemical facilities already established in the area.

This development will enhance the storage of fuels throughout the Gauteng region.

Moondream – Richards Bay

This site is situated between Kraft Link road, Geleirgag road and Eutectic Point road, Richards Bay and is located within 4km of the Port of Richards Bay. The site is full serviced by both road and rail. The site is further fully serviced with adequate water, electricity, stormwater and sewage facilities. The necessary EIA approvals are in place, allowing for immediate commencement of construction.

Wiltshire Road (Pinetown)

The property is situate at 117/ 121 Wiltshire Road, Pinetown and is zoned as General Industrial. The proposed warehouse is in extent 8,000m2 and office 600m2. The yard and driveway are in extent 10,600m2. Substantial yard space available at the entrance of the premises and parallel to the premises to allow for staging of trucks. Loading Banks allows for easy loading and offloading of trucks and allows Lessee an opportunity to continue with operations even during inclement weather. Proposed racking system to allow for optimum warehouse efficiencies. The site is centrally located, and has easy access to all major national routes and the harbour.
